As I mentioned in this post, the wedding I am designing at the moment has a book theme, with accents of lavender and moss. So my day today has been full of jars and book-pages while I made these lanterns. They all still need a bit of finishing ribbon, but they turned out quite well don't you think?
There are so many fun ways to incorporate books into your big day, so I thought I'd share some of my favourite DIYs that I am taking inspiration from.
1// Paper Roses. This one is particularly special as I am following these instructions to make Ziggy's bouquet. It's so easy and a great alternative to fresh flowers! I'll be sharing another post soon all about alternative bouquets.
2// I love this waterfall effect. Such a beautiful piece to hang in clusters or on it's own.
3// Book page bunting in many forms will be taking the stage!
4// I've shared this idea before, but I love it so much here it is again. Pop-up table numbers. Perfection.
5// Mixing aged pages with dried flowers and cotton plants has such a whimsical effect.
6// Confetti cones, so simple but a really classy touch.
8// Book page table runners, such a simple idea but I love it.
So there we have it. Some of my favourite ideas for adding a little literary charm to your event. I can't wait to work my way through some of these in the next few weeks. Which is your favourite?
